Mike Thompson - my Congressman > Rexroad.com

I really don't know Congressman Mike Thompson. We were both staff members in the Capitol years ago. He later became a State Senator while I worked as a Chief of Staff.

Since I have been in elected office we have talked a few times. I really like this staff here in Woodland and some of the people I have met in Washington.

So today Congressman Thompson voted against the $700 Billion bailout -- and I say --- "Right On!". The Republican Congressman from Yolo County, Wally Herger voted for the thing.

Today I also got my sample ballot and learned that the Republican nominess is some guy named Zane Starkewolf. You can learn more about him here.

After today I am seriously considering voting for Congressman Thompson in November.
