Big boy bed By Matt Rexroad on Sunday, July 27, 2008 @ 8:20 AM :: 0 Comments :: Blog   Last night was the first time Adam "slept" in a big boy bed. What a disaster. Our kids go to bed at 7:30 pm each night.  They sleep in the same room.  At just after 8pm I went up to check on them. Adam is in bed smiling.  Upon closer inspection he was in bed but with probably 45 books that were not there before.  I went in, took the books back on the first shelf and told him, "Do not take any more of these books off the bottom shelf.  They don't belong in your bed." He nodded understanding and smiled. At just after 8:30 pm (I had not heard anything on the monitor) I went back upstairs for another look.  This time Adam is in bed smiling -- with about 45 books in bed with him from the MIDDLE SHELF.  At that point the big boy bed was very close to ending up on an express trip out the window to College Street.  I don't think he went to sleep until 10pm with all the madness. It is now 8:25 am and he is already tired. The people running Sunday School are going to get a very cranky little boy to watch over today.
