Blue Wing Art Gallery Presents:
RURAL AMERICA
Historic Woodland Downtown, CA –RURAL AMERICA will feature three artists for this month’s First Friday Event. Sheri Greves-Neilson, Doug Souza and Kathy Sarman.
The legendary beauty of California and the rural settings of America are depicted in the artwork by our three featured artists. With their pens, their pencils, their paints and their brushes they've created a personal interpretation of their experiences and our "Rural America"
Doug Souza's images are calming, filling our need for inner silence. They seem to be created from a center that is still. He has the ability to
immerse himself, and us with him in the total reality of his paintings.
Sheri Greves-Neilson's is an exceptional artist and we are lucky to be showcasing her work when she is in her prime. Animals are her focus, especially ranch animals. Horses are her specialty. Her paintings and drawings infuse them with a sense of warmth and life.
Kathy Sarman
Kathy's life has always included horses. Her rural lifestyle lends a sense of authenticity to her pastel drawings of ranch life and animals. She was selected to create the posters for the 2000 and 2001 Reno Rodeo. Kathy is a member of the Pastel Society of America.
